Overview

The Cliffs at Keowee is a collection of three incredible gated mountain-lake residential neighborhoods located on the shores of 18,500-acre Lake Keowee. In addition to living on Lake Keowee, membership includes convenient passage to the coveted Lake Jocassee, a 7,500-acre natural treasure. Renowned as one of the most pristine natural environments in the Eastern United States, Lake Jocassee is protected in perpetuity along more than 90% of its shoreline.

Members of The Cliffs at Keowee neighborhoods will stay connected effortlessly and conveniently through a planned inter-community water taxi, and currently share amenities that include two championship golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and two by Tom Fazio (the only location in the country with this combination), first-class equestrian, marina, and wellness facilities. With its lakefront setting and proximity to the Blue Ridge Mountains, this community offers phenomenal opportunities for outdoor recreation and enjoyment.

Keowee Falls. With a majority of its available homesites having already sold and homes well under construction since its debut in 2002, The Cliffs at Keowee Falls has caught the attention of many. The Cliffs at Keowee Falls is situated on 2,500 acres, including 20 miles of shoreline, along Lake Keowee.

Keowee Vineyards. Introduced in 1997, The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards is surrounded by two of the most pristine lakes in the Carolinas, Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee, and boaters enjoy a full-service marina providing convenient access to both. Near the lakeside pool and pavilion, The Ship Store supplies everything from snacks to fishing tackle, including pontoon boat, canoe, and kayak rentals.

Rated seventh among the country’s top ten new private courses by Golf Digest, the Keowee Vineyards course is another everyday luxury to enjoy as a Member of The Cliffs. With half of its holes weaving along Lake Keowee’s shoreline, this Tom Fazio masterpiece places you at the center of one of nature’s loveliest intersections: the lake’s aquamarine waters, Sumter National Forest, and bordering Blue Ridge Mountains.

The new 10,000-square-foot lakeside Wellness Center includes a golf conditioning room, a SwimEx post rehab water treadmill, and flat-screen machines equipped with CardioTheater. Introduced in 2003, the Equestrian Center includes a magnificent barn with full boarding and training facilities, multi-purpose riding arenas, and access to over 200 miles of trails through the 40,000-acre Jocassee Gorges. You could ride for weeks on these trails through Jocassee Gorges and never cover the same terrain twice.

Our Lakehouse Restaurant offers casual dining and picturesque views of sunsets on the lake-a perfect way to wind down the day with family or friends.

Marked by crystalline waterfalls cascading along the lake’s banks, Keowee Falls will feature outstanding recreational and wellness amenities, including The Cliffs’ second Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.
