Overview

For more than two hundred years, American presidents, prime ministers and celebrities have made their way to White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia and The Greenbrier. They’ve succumbed to the lure of fly-fishing, rejoiced at a well-played golf round on Sam Snead’s home course, and reveled in the inimitable feeling of flying just inches above a galloping saddle. And when the demands of the world took them away from the rejuvenating environment of the Allegheny Mountains, they longed for the day they could return.

The Greenbrier Sporting Club has been named a top golf community by many of the world's top publications, including: Travel + Leisure Golf, Golf Connoisseur, LINKS and The Robb Report.
