Mission Inn's Las Colinas

 

Overview

Accessible seclusion, The Mission Inn Golf & Tennis Resort is a privately owned grand resort located 35 minutes northwest of Orlando. This award-winning, Spanish Colonial-style destination resort is an unexpected surprise in Central Florida, both for the old-world beauty of the environment and breadth of resort facilities. The landscape is also unusual with beautiful rolling hills, abundance of lakes, and majestic oaks and pines. On "El Campeon," the first of Mission Inn's two golf courses, there are elevation changes of up to 85 feet from tee-to-green.

Las Colinas, which is Spanish for "the hills," is the name of the second golf course and the setting of Mission Inn's Las Colinas golf community. This is a rare chance to live in a private home or condominium with all the benefits of Mission Inn's deluxe resort amenities and service.

Clarke from Troon, Scotland was the course architect.
"Las Colinas": Opened in 1992; designed by former PGA Tour player and Florida native, Gary Koch. The Las Colinas golf course features wide fairways with generous landing areas. Nominated for Golf Digest's "Best New Resort Course" in 1992. Golf Shop, instruction, club rental, driving range practice area. Golf Academy.

Tennis 6 Har-Tru and 2 Lykold courts, lighted for night play. Professional tennis staff and program of lessons, matches and clinics. Tennis shop.

Water/ Marina/ Boating 52 slip marina on Lake Harris, Florida's fifth largest lake. Slips and rental boats available. You can sail to the Atlantic Ocean from this marina.
