Overview

A deep commitment to preserving the environment underlies every aspect of this expansive new master--planned community, which is taking shape at a magnificent 3,300-acre site about an hour north of Jacksonville in the Golden Isles region of coastal Georgia. The Peninsula at Golden Isles encompasses more than 13 miles of deepwater shoreline along the scenic Little Satilla River, with nine miles of navigable freshwater lakes and more than 1,000 acres of lush wetlands and estuary set aside as a wildlife preserve and environmental education center.

Throughout the property, cozy neighborhoods and thoughtfully designed amenities will reflect the architectural heritage of the small towns and rural villages that once defined the Georgia coast, with city conveniences available nearby.

Fitness Center A state-of-the-art fitness center will be featured at the community center.

Pools/Spas A range of luxurious massage and beauty treatments will be available at the development’s full-service spa.

An attractive, resort-like swimming pool will be located in the community center.

Outdoor Activities In addition to a full range of water sports, residents will have access to a private network of hiking and biking trails, and to a 1,000-acre wildlife preserve and nature center. The development also includes a 100-acre nursery for the preservation of native flora and fauna.

Golf A number of highly rated courses are located nearby, including the Jekyll Island Golf Resort, the Sea Island Golf Club and the Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort.

Water/ Marina/ Boating A deepwater marina is planned for the development, with complete outfitting services for salt- and freshwater adventures.

Fishing Anglers will have a choice of lake, river and ocean fishing opportunities at or near the development, with outfitting services available at the on-site marina.

Gated Entry Access to The Peninsula at Golden Isles is via a secure gated entrance.

Lots Phase one of the development consists of approximately 200 half-acre homesites priced from $65,900.

Nearby Attractions Georgia’s Golden Isles region is one of the great gems of the Atlantic Seaboard, home to a chain of spectacular barrier islands where upscale resorts and private country estates rub shoulders with the quaint coastal communities and laid-back lifestyle of traditional Low Country culture. This area also makes a terrific home base for day and weekend excursions throughout the Southeast, with Savannah and Jacksonville just over an hour away, and Atlanta, Orlando and Charleston close enough for an easy weekend getaway.

Clubhouse A village-like community center will serve as the social and recreational nexus of the Peninsula at Golden Isles, with an on-site seafood restaurant, a cozy bed and breakfast inn and a nondenominational chapel.
