Each fall, Forest Oaks Country Club is home to the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro PGA golf tournament.

With so much open space in the community dedicated to parks and playgrounds, it seemed only fair to include a separate park for our four-legged, furry friends, so yes we even have a designated dog park.

Nearby Attractions Mackintosh on the Lake offers all the amenities and beauty of lakeside living and located in Burlington, North Carolina, the community is conveniently located in the heart of the Triad area. Just 15 minutes from Greensboro and 40 minutes from Raleigh off I40, Burlington is city that offers the quaint charm of small town living yet offers all the modern conveniences of a much larger metropolitan area.

Burlington is rich in culture and historical traditions, offering visitors and residents alike an array of activities; catch a free outdoor concert at the Historic Train Depot amphitheater or check out the Paramount Theatre for plays, musicals and performances. Maybe take a turn on the 1910 Dentzel Menagerie Carousel that runs during warm weather months and at Christmas. For art lovers there are several artist galleries that showcase the works of local artists. You can even catch a ball game, the Burlington Athletic Stadium plays host to the Burlington Royals, a minor league for the Kansas City Royals.
