Overview
The Ouachita Mountains provide a scenic backdrop for this planned community which is renowned for its great golf courses. Four of the courses have garnered national acclaim for the last three years: Ponce De Leon was named one of the top 100 courses in the nation by Golf World, and Diamante Isabella and Diamante are also favorites. Hot Springs Village is a gated community with a 24-hour security force. Nearby is Hot Springs National Park, the nation's only urban National Park and Arkansas' favorite vacation destination.

Interest Groups More than 200 Clubs meet throughout the Village. Hot Springs Village offers the largest duplicate bridge club in Arkansas, with 1 to 3 games daily from the beginner to the expert player.
Planned Activities More than 100 civic and social clubs meet in the Village. Holiday events include, 4th of July celebration and fireworks, Halloween parties with churches and the POA offering centers for treat or treaters, Santa Claus, Easter egg hunts and more. Golf and tennis tournaments, Pilates, Tai Chi, water aerobics, dance and yoga classes are also among the many planned activities.
Fitness Center A 25-meter indoor pool with retractable roof is the centerpiece of a facility that offers saunas, exercise rooms with free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes, stair stepper and other cardio machines. Personalized workout programs can be arranged through the center's full-time fitness staff.
Pools/Spas Swimmers can enjoy three swimming complexes (one indoor).
Indoor Activities Arts & Crafts room, bridge rooms, library, performing arts center and a dance floor are among the activities enjoyed. A 3,000 sq. ft. games building offers ping pong, billiards, air hockey, foosball, computer games, movies and board games.
Outdoor Activities 3 swimming beaches on 11 recreation lakes, (8) 18 hole and (1) 27 hole professionally designed golf courses, lawn bowling, miniature golf, basketball courts and 21+ miles of multi-purpose trail system encourage residents to enjoy the great outdoors.
Golf Few locations offer both the quantity and quality of the golf enjoyed here. 9 superb professionally designed and maintained courses stretch over 171 holes, making this a golf mecca. Golf Digest has named four of the Village's courses to its "Top 10 Best in State" list
Tennis Tennis may be played on 17 courts (both clay and hard surfaced) in three different locations. A well-stocked pro shop, full-time pro and an active tennis club add to the enjoyment.
Water/ Marina/ Boating The Village includes nine private lakes with two more scheduled to open in 2006. Boat rentals, tackle and other supplies are available at two marinas. One lake offers a swim beach with covered pavilion, grilles, fireplaces and other amenities.
Fishing Fishing is enjoyed at all of the Village's 11 recreational lakes and at nearby Lake Ouachita.
Equestrian There are 3 stables within a 30 minute drive.
Gated Entry With more than 26,000 acres, the Village is considered the country's largest gated community. Access is through two, staffed guard gates and 2 more card-activated (owner's only) entry gates.
RV Storage Ten pads (six for members, four for guests) are available for stays of up to 14 days.
Lots There are still many lots, lake lots, golf lots, interior lots and owner priviledge lots available.
Scenic Views A scenic overlook offers a panoramic view of the Ouachita Mountains. Many homes have fantastic views of one of the 12 lakes, 9 golf courses, many have mountain views and many have nature views.
Nearby Attractions Just 16 miles away is Hot Springs National Park, the nation's only urban National Park. Hot Springs takes it name from the naturally hot springs that bubble from deep in the earth's core. Soothing spa baths and massages can be enjoyed in ornate turn-of-the century bathhouses and hotels that line Bathhouse Row. This is also the home of music, art and film festivals. Woodland Garvin Garlands offers a prestine walk around the beauty and glamor of nature's beauty including waterfalls and more. Oaklawn Park is one of the country's top thoroughbred tracks. The track offers a live spring meet that's followed by simulcast racing for most of the year and now gaming machines are available for your entertainment. 15 miles away is Magic Springs Amusement and Crystal Falls Water Park, which include Timberwood Concert Series with top name performers. Little Rock is approximately 1 hour away with all the amenities of the big city including a national airport.
