South Texas is a region of the U.S. state of Texas which lies roughly south of, or beginning at, San Antonio.

The region includes Alice, Beeville, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Eagle Pass, Edna, Laredo, McAllen, Victoria, et cetera.

South Texas should not be confused with the Rio Grande Valley. All four counties which make up the Rio Grande Valley belong to the "South Texas" designation, but not all of South Texas is part of the Rio Grande Valley.
